🦡 Fiat Doblo 1.3 Multijet Wont Start
Thought I'd jump on this thread rather than start a new one. Got a 1.3 Multijet Diesel, 2011. Central locking (key operated, not remote, no remote with the vehicle) would never open the rear doors but I could lock the whole vehicle from the rear doors Now the "open door" light is appearing on the dash and the whole central locking has failed and I cannot open the sliding door at all as it has
As long as the copper wire is intact and not frayed, a bit of insulation tape wrapped around it should be a cheap fix. If its frayed then cut it out and solder in some fresh cable. If you have a multimeter check the resistance of each glow plug which should be about 1-2 ohms. Last edited: Mar 24, 2015.

clean of the diesel tank and EGR valve/inlet manifold. Do you have a receipt and is on it some liquid to clean the tank and EGR This works for a few month and the problem wil be back, I don't think they took the hole tank of it to do a proper cleaning I think they just threw some cleaning product in it.

Look into the passenger footwell, get right down and look up at the centre console, you should see the rubber pipes going to the heater, then to the left roughly in the centre you should see what I can only describe as like the front of a drawer or slot where I think it is.

A Doblo/Cargo 1.3 Multijet 90 dated 2010-12 had a 263a2.000 90hp. My Doblo Maxi 2010 is a 1.6 105hp and has a side mounted oil filter accessible through the wheel arch. A total guess is the 90 hp one has a VVT or VNT turbo to get the extra Hp. V.
2. Points. 1. Feb 6, 2017. #1. Hi, In desperate need of advice, have a 2005 Doblo 1.3 diesel, will only start with easy start, once started will run fine and drives fine. Once vehicle has been switched off will not start again until the use of easy start. Have replaced: fuel filter, crankshaft sensor, fuel pressure regulator.
It’s a 2014 plate registered jan 2015. On starting van the amber glow plug light was flashing. I did start up correctly. Turning ignition to electrics and waiting for the glow plug symbol. To go out. Which was a second or so as it was 25 degrees 😣. When I noticed glow plug light flashing I restarted van and it didn’t come back on.
OK you Doblo'ers I need to ask you a question. When I start my 1.3 multijet I find that I have trouble selecting gear when the engine is cold - This is especially true for second and third gear (the dog leg). Once the engine is warm it's normally fine. Do you guys find this? Is this a feature

The one that is used with the 90hp engine has variable vanes and even if it looks similar it's totally different inside and the way it's managed by the ECU.
